Guidelines for Handling Commercial Influence in CME Accreditation

14 . 02 . 2024

The Academy has recently endorsed a set of “Guidelines for handling commercial influence in CME accreditation” and a relevant checklist for CME organisers to observe. The set of Guidelines aims to ensure that educational contents of a CME activity are free from commercial influence, in order to maintain the independence and uphold the scientific values and professional standards of the activity. CME organisers are required to acknowledge their adherence to the guidelines and make declaration accordingly as needed.

The set of Guidelines is embedded as the Appendix of “Procedures and criteria for accreditation of CME activities”. Please click here to read or download the full set of document.
