Annual subscription 2024

Demand notes for annual subscription for the year 2024 have been sent in January. Fellows are strongly advised to settle the payment as soon as possible.

Reminders:

1. Fellows are required to make payment of annual subscription on or before 30 June 2024. A surcharge of $1,000 or pro-rated rate where applicable will be levied for overdue payment.
2. All payments must be received before 30 September 2024. According to Bylaw 6.4:
   If a member's fee or any other moneys due by a member to the Academy is not received by the Academy within 9 months after such payment falls due, despite two written reminders by the Academy to pay, the member shall automatically forfeit his membership.
3. For Fellows who have given direct debit authorisation to the Academy, the due annual subscription will be debited automatically from the designated bank account in March 2024.
4. Annual subscription will be waived for Fellows aged over 70 or have reached the age of 70 before 31 December 2023.
5. Fellows residing outside Hong Kong or have retired from all remunerative practice / job / business must submit formal written request for reduced rates of subscription. All reduced rates will be effective from the next subscription year after submission of application and approval. For details, please click here.

Easy payment methods
It is highly recommended to settle the annual subscriptions by electronic payment methods.

1. Credit card online payment

   Fellows may log into eHKAM Portal (https://e.hkam.hk/) or iCMECPD (www.icmecpd.hk) to make the payment. You may also do it via the eHKAM App installed in your smart phone (please update the App to the latest version).

   • For eHKAM Portal and App, please login with your eHKAM ID ([email protected]) and select ‘Annual Subscription’ from the home page. (For registration of eHKAM ID, please visit: https://online.hkam.org.hk/ehkam/registration)
   • For iCMECPD, please select ‘Fellow’s Area’ > ‘Annual Subscription’
2. Faster Payment System (FPS)
   Fellows can open the banking app installed in smartphone, scan the FPS QR code on the demand note / eHKAM Portal / eHKAM App / iCMECPD and pay the bill. You will receive real-time SMS / email notification from the bank if the payment is successful, subject to notification setting of your bank account.
   Fellows who have settled the payment by FPS will soon receive an e-voucher for redemption of a free drink at the Academy Lounge on 3/F, Hong Kong Academy of Medicine Jockey Club Building, Aberdeen, Hong Kong. (Note: Please visit the Academy’s website for the opening hours.)

e-Receipt
To preserve the environment by reducing paper usage, Fellows who have settled their annual subscriptions can view and download the e-receipt in iCMECPD/ eHKAM App/ eHKAM Portal 1 working day after the transaction is completed.
