Workshop on Expert Witness Report Writing 2025

The first Workshop on Expert Witness Report Writing was successfully held on 9 March 2024. By popular demand, the Task Force on Laws for Healthcare Practitioners under the Academy’s Professionalism and Ethics Committee (PEC) will organise the second Workshop on Expert Witness Report Writing on 23 August 2025 (Saturday), 2:00pm – 6:00pm. It will be held at the Function Room 1-2, 2/F, Hong Kong Academy of Medicine Jockey Club Building.

The HKAM Online Training Course for Expert Witnesses was launched on 5 October 2022. Currently, more than 130 participants have completed the Course. This Workshop aims to provide the participants with the opportunity to apply the knowledge gained in the Course to hone their report writing skills.

Target Participants:

• All Fellow participants of the HKAM Online Training Course for Expert Witnesses are eligible, with priority given to those who have completed the whole Course. Secondary preference will be given to those who have not completed the whole Course but have completed Core Module 3 on Report Writing.
• Fellows who have not enrolled in the Course but have experience in expert witness report writing may also be accepted if seats are available.
