Positive Psychology – Stress Management Workshop

Positive psychology shifts the focus from treating mental illness to nurturing strengths, virtues and factors that contribute to a fulfilling life. It emphasizes enhancing well-being and resilience. This lecture introduces stress management through positive psychology to enhance well-being and work–life balance in healthcare settings.

The Academy's Task Force on Well-Being is organizing a Positive Psychology workshop themed Stress Management, led by our Psychiatry Fellows on 30 May 2026, Saturday.  Join our workshop to enhance emotional resilience and foster sustainable well-being.

Guest speaker

Dr. Chong King-yee is a Specialist in Psychiatry and Honorary Clinical Assistant Professor of the University of Hong Kong. Dr. Chong is actively involved in international psychiatric and psychological education. She is the founder of the Special Interest Group in Spirituality and Psychiatry of the Hong Kong College of Psychiatrists, a Council Member of the Hong Kong Medical Association (HKMA) since 2020, and a committee member of the World Psychiatric Association (WPA) Scientific Section on Religion, Spirituality and Psychiatry.
