HKJC ILCM’s evolving roles in modernising postgraduate medical education

The Academy’s division the Hong Kong Jockey Club Innovative Learning Centre for Medicine (HKJC ILCM) celebrates its 10th anniversary in the development of postgraduate simulation-based learning and medical education in 2023.

Over the years, HKJC ILCM has been dedicated to enhancing patient safety, trainer competency and postgraduate healthcare education through the provision of various courses. To further establish its role in simulation training centers in Hong Kong, HKJC ILCM has continued to invest in faculty development, including the development of its own simulation educator course and debriefing skills course further to partnership with external counterparts. Besides, during the COVID-19 pandemic, HKJC ILCM has also adopted different solutions to overcome many challenges.
