
The part-time programme Diploma in Family Medicine, organised by The Hong Kong College of Family Physicians (HKCFP), is now open for applications. The one-year course will begin in August 2026, covering essential consultation skills and common clinical procedures to strengthen professional knowledge and expertise in family medicine.
To support doctors’ professional development, Primary Healthcare Commission (PHCC) has increased the training subsidies for eligible participants. Upon successful completion of the course, eligible doctors enrolled in the Primary Care Directory (PCD)^ by the end of the course can apply to Primary Healthcare Commission for a training subsidy.
- PCD doctors who have joined the Primary Healthcare Co-care Network (Chronic Disease Co-Care (CDCC) Scheme doctors*) can apply for a reimbursement of 50% of course fee or maximum HK$23,000;
- Other PCD doctors (i.e. those not yet joined the Network) may apply for reimbursement of 25% of course fee or maximum HK$11,500.
