                                                                 Prospective applicants are warmly encouraged to
                                                                 submit proposals that articulate their educational
                                                                 objectives, target participants, and expected
                                                                 outcomes. Proposals will be reviewed by the JCIMED
                                                                 Operations Committee based on their potential
                                                                 impact on professional development and strategic
                                                                 alignment with broader medical education goals.

                                                                 This   successful  implementation  powerfully
                                                                 underscores the Academy's unwavering commitment
                                                                 to excellence in medical education, highlighting the
                                                                 transformative impact of strategic partnerships and
                                                                 innovative funding in elevating the standard of
                                                                 professional medical training in Hong Kong.



            JCIMED Opening Ceremony Marks New Era in Hong Kong Medical Education


            The Hong Kong Academy of Medicine (HKAM)
            celebrated a significant milestone with the official
            opening ceremony of the Jockey Club Institute of
            Medical Education (JCIMED) on the evening of 14 April
            2025. The event marked the culmination of extensive
            planning and development efforts to establish a
            state-of-the-art medical training hub in Hong Kong.


            Dr Benny Cheng, Honorary Director of JCIMED,
            delivered  the  welcome  address,  highlighting  that
            “JCIMED represents our commitment to innovation in
            medical training and professional development.” He

                                                              simulation-based learning, foster interdisciplinary
                                                              research  across  medical  specialties,  and  enhance
                                                              specialist training in Hong Kong.


                                                              The ceremony concluded with group photos capturing
                                                              the leadership team and committee members who
                                                              made the JCIMED vision a reality.
