alignment with broader medical education goals.

underscores the Academy's unwavering commitment

JCIMED Opening Ceremony Marks New Era in Hong Kong Medical Education
The Hong Kong Academy of Medicine (HKAM)
celebrated a significant milestone with the official
opening ceremony of the Jockey Club Institute of
Medical Education (JCIMED) on the evening of 14 April
2025. The event marked the culmination of extensive
planning and development efforts to establish a
state-of-the-art medical training hub in Hong Kong.
Dr Benny Cheng, Honorary Director of JCIMED,
delivered the welcome address, highlighting that
“JCIMED represents our commitment to innovation in
medical training and professional development.” He
