LET’S JOIN HANDS TO
PROMOTE ORGAN DONATION
The Academy is setting up a Task Force on Organ Donation, bringing together representatives from Colleges
and relevant colleagues from the community, with an aim to develop strategies and formulate plans to promote
organ donation and provide related education to both the healthcare community as well as the wider society.
This initiative aligns with the Academy’s commitment to education and addressing important societal issues.
Meanwhile, the Academy will co-organise with the Hong Kong Society of Transplantation for a thanksgiving
event on 23 March 2025 (Sunday), with the theme “感恩捐贈者十五載 ， 受贈者銘記情永在” (15 Years of Gratitude
to Donors, Forever Remembered by Recipients). The event aims to honour and appreciate the generosity of
organ donors and the life-changing impact of organ transplantation. This special gathering will provide an
occasion to celebrate the spirit of giving, share powerful stories of hope, and inspire more individuals to
support organ donation. More details about this event will be shared via eBlast in due course.
