Updates on Vaccine Pass and access to the Academy Building
17 . 11 . 2022
The health and well-being of all visitors and staff members have always been of high priority to the Academy. To be in line with the Government’s latest social distancing measures effective from 17 November 2022, the Academy Building and its event premises will be changed from "active checking" to "passive checking". Vaccination records or exemption certificates will not be activity checked upon entry to the building. However, all persons who enter the building will still need to scan the LeaveHomeSafe QR code(s) using the LeaveHomeSafe mobile application on their mobile phones, comply with the vaccination requirements under the Vaccine Pass (https://www.coronavirus.gov.hk/pdf/vp_t1_ENG.pdf) and present the relevant records or exemption certificates as required by designated persons during spot checks or other enforcement actions. And the requirements and restrictions on catering premises (https://www.fehd.gov.hk/english/events/covid19/vaccine_bubble_FP.html) remain in force.
For details of other COVID-19 related measures being enforced at the Academy Building, please refer to the document titled “Precautionary measures at the Academy Building in response to COVID-19” on the Academy website.
The Academy will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and make necessary adjustments to the precautionary measures, following the guidelines set by the Government and health authorities.
