Updates on Vaccine Pass and access to the Academy Building

The health and well-being of all visitors and staff members have always been of high priority to the Academy. To be in line with the Government’s decision to further tighten social distancing measures and strengthen anti-epidemic capacity, the Academy will require all persons entering the Academy Building to present a Vaccine Pass for checking by designated person-in-charge effective from 1 March 2022.  

The Vaccine Pass will be applicable to the Academy Building, including its catering and event premises. Under the Vaccine Pass arrangement, all persons entering or remaining in all areas of the building must comply with the following.

  1. to have received at least one dose of vaccine before 1 March 2022, and will get fully vaccinated according to the Government’s “Dosage Schedule for Vaccine Pass” (https://www.coronavirus.gov.hk/pdf/vp_t1_ENG.pdf); An exemption will be given to staff working in the building who have planned to get vaccinated with a booking made on or before 28 February 2022.  
  2. to carry an electronic version or a paper copy of COVID-19 vaccination or valid COVID-19 Vaccination Medical Exemption Certificate (Exemption Certificate), and scan the QR code of a vaccination record or Exemption Certificate using: LeaveHomeSafe”, “iAM Smart” or “eHealth” mobile applications at the building entrance on the ground floor, catering and/or event premises as per requirements  
  3. to present proof of negative results of COVID-19 test conducted within 72 hours prior to access to the building together with a valid Exemption Certificate issued by a doctor for any person who is medically unsuitable for vaccination but requires visits to the Academy Building 
  4. to complete a designated form to record personal particulars (name, contact number, date and time of visit) by any person whose vaccination record or Exemption Certificate does not contain a QR code, or any children aged under 12 not accompanied by an adult 

All records of personal data will be kept by the Academy for 31 days as per the requirement set by the Government.

The Academy will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and make necessary adjustments to the precautionary measures, following the guidelines set by the Government and health authorities.
