Principles and Guidelines on CME / CPD (2023-25)

08 . 08 . 2022

The updated document “Principles and Guidelines on CME / CPD (2023-25)” is available. Please click here for the details.

Apart from refinements made for improving the clarity of contents, the key changes are:

  1. The addition of “performing trainers’ duties” as an accreditable CME / CPD activity under Section 6.8 (apart from “conducting examinations”). A maximum of 10 points can be awarded to recognise the trainer’s role.
  2. The addition of the Academy’s “Guidelines for CME Accreditation of Online Activities” as an Appendix.

(Note: These are the general principles and guidelines set by the Academy. Individual Colleges will refer to the Academy’s Guidelines and update their own set of guidelines as needed for Fellows to observe. There may be specific rules or requirements that the Colleges determine to be relevant to their respective specialties.)
