Applications open: 2021 National Qualification Examination in the Mainland

Under the CEPA arrangements, registered doctors in Hong Kong who are permanent Hong Kong residents are eligible to apply to take the National Qualification Examination in the Mainland (國家醫師資格考試). The Medical Council of Hong Kong is tasked for the receipt and vetting of applications for the examination.

Applications to sit for the 2021 National Qualification Examination are now called for by the National Medical Examination Center of the People's Republic of China. All applicants for this year's examination are required to submit their applications online. General information on the examination, application form and related details are available on the website of the National Medical Examination Center. The closing date is 21 January 2021. Applicants who have already submitted their applications online before the closing date are required to submit the supporting documents in person to the Medical Council Secretariat for vetting and onward submission to the National Medical Examination Center on or before 28 January 2021.
