While the Academy can grant exemption to Fellows retired from active practice, this is for the purpose of Fellowship only. The MRO and DRO stipulate that CME is a must for the SR. The Academy will cease to record CME/CPD for a Fellow upon his/her resignation or approval of CME exemption, and shall inform the MCHK/DCHK once his/her name has been removed from the Academy’s register. Fellows who wish to resign his Fellowship or apply for CME/CPD exemption should consider voluntary resignation from the SR with MCHK/DCHK directly, if their names are on the SR. The Task Force on Youth Drug Abuse and Narcotics Division of the Security Bureau are appealing to companies and organizations to support them by reaching out to those who have so far not been exposed to drugs or are at risk, showing them hope, cheering them up, giving them opportunities and strengthening their resistance to adversity and temptations.

The Academy is being invited to participate in the “Path Builders” programme, e.g. by inviting its Fellows to become mentors, or to give talks at schools. Fellows who are interested in being mentor or speakers at school talks please complete the enclosed form and fax/mail it back to the Academy.
