10th Annual General Meeting

The 10th AGM of the Academy will be held on 19 December 2003 at 6:30 pm at the Pao Yue Kong Auditorium.  Fellowship conferment ceremony and presentations of the Best Original Research by Trainee competition will be held on the same day.

New Fellowship Card

The new Fellowship cards were sent to all Fellows in November.  The new card is embedded with a smart chip and can also be used to capture attendance for certain CME activities held at the Academy.  Fellows will be requested to present their Fellowship card when using the Academy facilities. 

Chinese Paintings Exhibition

Ms. Carrie Ka-Lee Cheung (M.Med.Sc., HKU), a talented and enthusiastic painter, is displaying her Chinese lotus paintings at the Academy Lounge until 31 December 2003.  

2004 Annual Subscription

The 2004 subscription rates will remain unchanged.  Fellows will receive their debit notes shortly and are reminded to settle their subscriptions as soon as they can.  Payments received by the Academy after 30 June 2004 will be subject to a 5% surcharge.

The Academy Secretariat will be closed at 1:00 pm on 22nd (Winter Solstice) 24th (Christmas Eve) and 31st December (New Year Eve) 2003. The Academy wishes all Fellows a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
