HKAM Press HKAM Press has moved into the newly renovated Room 901 on 9/F of the Academy building on 15 September 2006 . The new office, with a design that matches the rest of the Academy's office, now houses the 3 permanent staff and the two part-time Executive Editors. There is a conference area for meetings and a display area showing the various publications produced by the HKAM Press.

Health Manpower Survey The
Department of Health has requested the Academy to help remind Fellows that
the 2006 Health Manpower Survey (HMS) has started.
The HMS aims to collect up-to-date information on the size,
characteristics and employment status of healthcare personnel to
facilitate the development and planning of health workforce in
Research Fund for the Control of Infectious Diseases (RFCID) / Health and Health Services Research Fund (HHSRF) The RFCID and HHSRF have issued a joint call for research
grant applications. The closing date
is 15 November 2006. Full details of
the research priorities, application guidelines and application forms are
available from the website of the Health, Welfare and Food Bureau.
