Two nominees have subsequently withdrawn their nomination. The
remaining five candidates will therefore be elected ipso facto and the scheduled
postal ballot will be cancelled. Details

Academy’s third intercollegiate scientific meeting will be held on 25 February
2006 in conjunction with the Halnan Lecture.
The Secretary for Health, Welfare and Food has agreed to be the speaker
for the Halnan Lecture.

SAR Government have agreed to renew the Memorandum
of Understanding (MOU), which was signed last year, for another year.

Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in Darwin
