Look of Grand Hall
Renovation of the
Grand Hall was completed in early September. The newly renovated Grand
Hall is now equipped with better AV facilities.
 
HKAM Golf Tournament 2004
 The
HKAM Golf Tournament 2004 has been scheduled for 17 November 2004 (Wednesday).
The tournament will be held at the Eden Course of the Hong Kong Golf

Dress
up for Halloween
 In
celebration of the Halloween, a "Dress-up for Halloween" function will be
conducted for kids aged 4-12 at the Academy Lounge on 31 October 2004 (Sun). The program allows your kids to tailor-made

2004 Health Manpower Survey on Doctors
The Department of Health of HKSAR has requested the Academy to disseminate

2004 Health Manpower Survey on
Doctors
The Department of Health will conduct the 2004 Health Manpower
Survey (HMS) on doctors in November 2004. The Survey aims to collect
updated information on the characteristics and employment status of registered
doctors in Hong Kong. The survey result will provide an important basis
for health manpower planning.
Although participation in the Survey is voluntary, your active
participation is extremely important to make the Survey a success. We
would like to enlist your support to the Survey by completely the questionnaire
and returning it by 31 December 2004 (Friday).
Similar to that of the previous surveys, self-administered
questionnaires will be sent together with the letters for renewal of practising
certificates to all registered doctors in Hong Kong. The information
collected will be handled in strict confidence and analysed in aggregate form to
protect your privacy. Upon completion of the Survey, the results with the
personal data anonymized will be released through the hompage of the Department
of Health.
