The New URL for iCMECPD - http://www.icmecpd.hk

The Membership and Learning Management System, or MLMS, shall now be known as International Network for Continuing Medical Education and Continuous Professional Development, or iCMECPD.  A new URL http://www.icmecpd.hk has been launched on 31 July 2006, for iCMECPD with enhanced functions and services. 

Fellows of Colleges that have joined the iCMECPD, can now log into the system not only to view their CME profiles but also to print out the CME record details for reference and use.  Moreover, the Calendar has been enhanced for all Fellows to shortlist information by month, year, HKAM/College activities, events held in Hong Kong or overseas.  The selected data can also be saved for future reference. 

If Fellows have any queries or comments on the enhanced functions, please feel free to submit your message to the CME/CPD Office via the iCMECPD website.


 

Golf Tournament

Asian Oceanian Congress of Radiology 2006 Hong Kong

There is about 1 week to go before the AOCR 2006 will be held on 6th – 9th August 2006 in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The eHealth Consortium will hold a 2-day forum, entitled “Building a Healthy Tomorrow Using IT” on 15-16 September 2006 at the Academy. The Academy has agreed to be a supporting organization. Academy Lounge

The Academy Lounge on 3/F is an ideal place for Fellows to sit back and relax with friends or associates over a glass of wine.   It can also be turned into a gallery for exhibitions of paintings and photos.  Fellows who are amateur photographer or painter can consider displaying their collection there over a period of time and share their work with visitors.   For the health-conscious Fellows, there is a fitness centre with basic gym equipment and a sauna.  There is also a VIP room at the lounge that provides an exclusive environment for private gatherings. The Academy Lounge opens daily from 12:00noon - 9:00pm (Monday to Saturday) and 9:00am - 9:00pm (Sundays and Public Holidays). Fellows' Garden

The Fellows' Garden on 3/F just outside the lounge is equipped with a BBQ counter that could cater around 20 guests.  Fellows can host full-service BBQ parties for families and friends or arrange a less formal BBQ gathering for special guests to take a break during medical conferences.  For booking information, please contact the Conference Department at 2871 8787, or [email protected]
