Election of Council Members
Admission of New Fellows At the extraordinary general meeting held on 16 June 2005, 163 new Fellows were admitted. They will be invited to attend a conferment ceremony in December. The conferment ceremony will be held in conjunction with the David Todd Oration. Prof. Zhong Nan-shan, Chairman of the Chinese Medical Association, has kindly agreed to be this year’s orator. More details will be announced in coming months.
Amendments
to Principles and Guidelines on CME/CPD The Education Committee recently proposed some minor changes to the guidelines. Council endorsed these amendments in June. To download a new version of the guidelines, please go to the Fellows Area of this website.
Awards The Academy is delighted to announce that Dr. C.H. Leong, Immediate Past President of the Academy, was conferred the Dental Fellowship ad hominem by the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in June.
Summer Activities at the Academy Lounge Thai Food Cookery Class and Children Magic Course will be organized at the Academy Lounge.
