Academy Library and Fellows Lounge
The tendering procedures have completed earlier and the renovation works has already started. The opening of the library and lounge has been scheduled for 22 March 2003. Council has decided to invited Dr. Annie Wong, donor for the construction of the library, and Mr. Zhang Wenkang, Minister, Ministry of Health of the People’s Republic of China, to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Fellows will be informed of more details regarding services provided in the lounge in due course.
The Hong Kong College of Family Physicians will also be celebrating their 25th anniversary on the same day, with a join conferment with the Hong Kong College of Community Medicine.
2003 Annual Subscriptions
Fellows are reminded that their 2003 Annual Subscriptions are due on 1 January 2003. Fellows should receive a demand note from either the Academy or their College. Please be reminded that it is Council’s policy that subscriptions received by the Academy after 30 June 2003 will be subject to a surcharge of 5% on the subscription amount. Please settle your subscription as soon as possible.
