Honorary Fellow

The Academy has admitted Prof. Sir Harry Fang as Honorary Fellow.  Sir Harry is well known in the medical profession, especially in the rehabilitation and orthopaedic surgery.  To the Academy, Sir Harry truly made original contributions.  He called for an academy of medicine in 1983, as he foresaw a need for Hong Kong's medical establishment to stand on its own feet in terms of administering, monitoring, and accrediting specialist vocational training.  Without Sir Harry's effort to lobby donation from the Jockey Club, the Academy Building might not be in existence.
