Message from the President, C.H. Leong, 3 June  2003 ¡@ The Academy is profoundly saddened by the news of the untimely death of another remarkable Fellow, Dr. Thomas Cheung Sik Hin.  Dr. Cheung was also a devoted Fellow of the Hong Kong College of Otorhinolaryngologists. Dr. Cheung was infected with SARS while attending to patients.  His courage, selflessness and devotion to his work are an inspiration to us all. The death of Dr. Cheung is indeed a great loss to the Academy, the medical profession and the community as a whole.  He will be deeply missed. Dr. Cheng gave her life treating patients with SARS at the Tai Po Hospital.  Her courage, selflessness and devotion to her work is an example to us all.
