Background
The Hong Kong College of Pathologists was formed in October 1990, inaugurated in October 1991 with the following objectives:
(1) to promote the advancement of knowledge of the science and art of pathology
(2) to act as a body for the purpose of consultation in matters of educational or public interest concerning pathology
(3) to develop and maintain the good practice of pathology by ensuring the highest professional standards of competence and technical integrity.
Membership of the College includes Founder Fellows, Founder Members, Fellows, Honorary Fellows, Overseas Fellows, Members and Associates.
