Background

The Hong Kong College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists was formed in May 1988. The 2 main objectives of the College are (i) to encourage the study and advancement of the science and practice of obstetrics and gynaecology in Hong Kong; and (ii) to develop and maintain the good practice of obstetrics and gynaecology by ensuring the highest professional standards of competence and ethical integrity.

As of March 2004, the College has 340 Fellows and 63 Members.
